About Me
The BIM Mentor
Through my YouTube channel, The BIM Mentor, I share practical insights with a global audience of professionals who want to understand technology in a grounded, usable way. Whether I’m teaching, speaking, or creating, my goal is the same: to help the industry move forward thoughtfully, with humans firmly in the loop.

Video Lessons on Demand
I’ve seen firsthand how new tools are often introduced with unrealistic expectations or unnecessary fear. My focus has been on cutting through that noise and exploring how emerging technologies can support clearer thinking, more efficient workflows, and higher-value work for architects and engineers, without eroding design intent or professional judgment.
Alongside practice, education has always been central to my journey. I’ve taught and lectured at institutions including the University of Winnipeg, Athabasca University, Toronto Metropolitan University, and the University of Sheffield,England and I regularly speak at conferences and webinars on the future of practice at the intersection of information and design.
Artificial Intelligence for Architecture
I focus on practical, human-centered applications of AI in architecture and engineering. Rather than chasing trends, I help professionals understand where AI genuinely adds value, where it introduces risk, and how it can augment human expertise. My work emphasizes clarity, responsibility, and workflows where humans remain firmly in control.
Building Information Modelling
I work with BIM as a strategic methodology for improving efficiency and accauracy in the delivery of built infrastructure, regardless of the modelling tool of choice. My focus is on how information is structured, managed, and leveraged across the lifecycle of a project to support better decision-making, coordination, and delivery.
This includes workflow design, deployment of standards, automation, and aligning BIM with real project and business outcomes.

3D Printing & Photogrammetry
My creative and technical practice explores how physical and digital realities intersect. Using photogrammetry and 3D printing, I translate real-world conditions into accurate digital models and tangible artifacts. This work supports design exploration, documentation, prototyping, and storytelling, bridging data, craft, and material understanding.
